The Pessoa bit makes it easier to obtain a neck yield due to their leverage effect. This bit is used on horses that stick to the hand and/or pull downward, lightly loading the shoulders. They provide a leverage force corresponding to the distance between the suspension of the bit and the fixation of the rein.
The pessoa bit can be used with double reins or with a bit converter.
