Gift cards from La Sellerie de la Chambrière are prepaid cards that can be used like money.
All the information necessary for the use of the card is provided before the sale is concluded.
1. Terms of Use
The gift card is valid only at La Sellerie de la Chambrière .
It can be used:
- In store (1005 Avenue Saint-Jean-Baptiste #139 | Quebec City QC G2E 5L1 OR in the mobile store)
- Online, at chambriere.ca
The gift card can be used in one or more transactions, until the balance is completely depleted.
It is exchangeable only for goods offered by La Sellerie de la Chambrière.
No services are offered or covered by the gift card.
The gift card is not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged for cash, except in cases provided for by law.
2. Applicable Fees
No fees are required for the purchase or use of a gift card.
This includes, in particular:
- No activation fees
- No management fees
- No inactivity fees
3. Balance Check
The remaining balance on the gift card can be checked at any time:
- In store
- By contacting us via email (service@chambriere.ca) or by phone (418-658-6789)
The balance corresponds to the amount remaining available for the purchase of goods.
4. Expiration date – purchased gift cards
Gift cards purchased have no expiry date .
In accordance with Quebec law:
- No expiry date can be specified.
- The card cannot become unusable after a given period.
The amount paid by the consumer retains its value as long as the card has not been fully used.
5. Preservation of value
The amount spent on the gift card can never be lost due to time.
A card purchased for a given value retains that value until it is fully used.
6. Card replacement
If a gift card becomes damaged, it can be replaced. A $2 fee may be charged to replace the card.
In this case :
- The remaining balance will be retained
- The balance will be transferred to a new card
Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
7. Refund of the balance
In accordance with the law, if the remaining balance on a gift card is $5 or less , the consumer can request a refund.
The refund must be requested from the merchant whose name appears on the card.
8. Promotional cards and contests
The cards offered free of charge as part of:
- from a competition,
- of a promotion,
- or a special event
may include an expiry date .
These cards:
- are not sold,
- are not purchased by the consumer,
- do not constitute gift cards usable as money within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act.
The expiry date and applicable conditions are clearly indicated on the card or in the documents provided at the time of the offer.
9. Name of the merchant
The name La Sellerie de la Chambrière is indicated on the gift card.
Therefore, any request related to usage, balance or refund must be addressed directly to La Sellerie de la Chambrière.
10. Acceptance of conditions
The use of a gift card or promotional card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
