La Sellerie de la Chambrière: a reference for riders since 1987

Founded in 1987 by Claire in her Ste-Croix stable , La Sellerie de la Chambrière has established itself as a key player in the equestrian world in Quebec. For nearly 40 years, it has supported riders by offering them quality products, expert advice and exceptional customer service . Whether for horse equipment, care, clothing or accessories, it is committed to offering solutions adapted to all needs, from the leisure rider to the seasoned competitor.

Behind its success lies, above all, a passion for horses and the desire to offer riders a unique experience , both in-store and online. This commitment is reflected in a rigorous selection of products, a qualified team and a close relationship with the equestrian community.

Moving and expansion: a constant evolution

Since its creation, La Sellerie de la Chambrière has continued to evolve to meet ever-increasing demand. Its history is marked by several moves and expansions , each reflecting its development and its ambition to offer more space and choice to its customers.

It all began in Ste-Croix where Claire created a small boutique in her stable, formerly called Écurie Claire Gosselin . Some time later, she moved to Saint-Nicolas , where the business took its first steps. Quickly, the growth of the boutique led it to expand and later, move to Maricourt Avenue . Success was there and to keep up with the growth, two successive expansions were made. Finally, ten years ago, La Chambrière moved to its current location, at 1005 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Avenue in Quebec City.

This journey bears witness to the solidity and evolution of the company, which has been able to adapt to the needs of its customers by always offering more choice, more space and better service .

Mobile Shops: meeting riders

Beyond the physical store, La Sellerie de la Chambrière has always sought to get closer to the equestrian community by developing a unique concept: mobile stores .

These traveling sales units allow us to be present directly on the ground during Quebec's largest equestrian events. Thanks to them, riders can discover and purchase their favorite equipment without having to go to a store.

Among the major events where the Saddlery has distinguished itself are the St-Tite Western Festival, the Saint-Hyacinthe Horse Show, the Lévis Horse Show and numerous equestrian competitions and contests across Quebec.

These traveling boutiques are a way for La Chambrière to stay closer to riders and better understand their needs, while offering them direct access to a varied range of products at the heart of the events that interest them.
