The Beris DURE leather bit is designed to offer a gentle and natural experience for sensitive horses. Leather, an entirely natural material, stimulates chewing and salivation. It slides easily into the mouth, increasing comfort and promoting relaxation. Once wet, the leather becomes supple and conforms perfectly to the horse's anatomy.

This bit is particularly suitable for young horses or horses resistant to traditional bits. Its ergonomic design helps these horses regain confidence in the contact. The 7.5 cm loose ring allows for greater mobility. The rings slide easily in the copper sockets, providing a smooth and consistent action.

Each Beris bit is handcrafted in Germany using traditional techniques. The metal parts are formed, welded, and polished by hand. The strength of the leather and the quality of the vegetable tanning process guarantee a long lifespan.

IMPORTANT BEFORE FIRST USE:

  • Soak the bit for a few hours in cooking oil. Repeat this process as soon as the leather appears dry. Briefly soak it in clean water before each use and clean it thoroughly afterward, as saliva can damage the leather.
