ZEV Breathing Syrup

ZEV syrup relieves coughs and respiratory problems in horses and dogs.

Horses:

• Symptomatic relief of cough associated with minor upper respiratory system problems or minor bronchial irritations
• Symptomatic relief of nasal congestion
• Appetite stimulant and tonic

Dogs :

• Symptomatic relief of cough associated with minor upper respiratory system problems or minor bronchial irritations
• Appetite stimulant and tonic

Active ingredients per 1 ml - Ammonium carbonate (30.2 mg), potassium bicarbonate (52.7 mg), camphor (0.44 mg), menthol (4.4 mg), liquid squill extract (0. 5 mg), solid extract of buckthorn (0.7 mg)

Nonmedicinal ingredients - carrageenan, benzoic acid, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol solution, Canada balsam, pine needle oil, pepper oleoresin (contains capsaicin), ethanolic alcohol, liquid licorice extract, solid gentian extract , ginger root extract, molasses, purified. Water

Dosing Instructions (Horses) - For temporary relief of cough associated with minor upper respiratory problems or mild bronchial irritation: Mix 45 to 60 ml (3 to 4 tablespoons) of ZEV® liquid with equal parts honey, molasses or corn syrup. Place well on the tongue. Administer two to three times daily for 48 hours or as directed by a veterinarian. For temporary relief of nasal congestion: add 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of liquid ZEV® to approximately 10 liters of boiling water and place where the animal can breathe the vapors freely.

Dosing Instructions (Dogs) - For the temporary relief of cough associated with upper respiratory problems or mild bronchial irritation: Mix ZEV® liquid with equal parts honey, molasses or corn syrup. Administer this mixture, as directed below, 3 to 4 times daily for 48 hours or as directed by a veterinarian.
