The German BR Market Harborough Lancaster martingale is a training aid designed to promote a correct head position for the horse during ridden work. Also known as a Thiedemann rein, it helps prevent the horse from raising its head too high or too far forward, thus offering better control and more stable communication between rider and mount.

Made from high-quality leather, this martingale features an adjustable neck strap and attaches easily to the girth with an adjustable girth loop and snap hook. The narrow straps of the martingale are also adjustable and equipped with snap hooks to ensure a precise and customized fit for each horse.

The strong and comfortable rubber reins are finished with leather ends and buckles, and feature three D-rings sewn on the sides for easy attachment of a martingale. The chrome-plated brass hardware provides an elegant finish with a silvery shine.
