Glucosamine (as sulfate and hydrochloride)
A natural compound found in healthy cartilage, it acts as a precursor in the production of proteoglycans in the cartilage matrix and synovial fluid. When ingested, it becomes particularly useful in treating joint pain and inflammation. It also helps regenerate connective tissues and is necessary for the biosynthesis of several glycoproteins, glycolipids, and glycosaminoglycans (mucopolysaccharides). It works synergistically with chondroitin.

Chondroitin (as sulfate)
A component of proteoglycans, it is a basic building block of cartilage. It acts synergistically with glucosamine and contributes to the regeneration of connective tissues. This substance reduces both joint swelling and the activity of destructive enzymes in the joints. It can also decrease certain biomarkers of inflammation in the synovial fluid.

Hyaluronic acid (HA)
