The Waldhausen Large Slow Feed hay net is designed to allow for slower, more gradual forage consumption. Its small 4.5 × 4.5 cm mesh limits access to the hay while still allowing the horse to eat naturally.

Its extra-large size offers a capacity of approximately 5.5 to 7.5 kg of hay, making it an excellent option for extending access to forage between meals or during time spent in the stall.

With a length of approximately 100 cm when empty, it provides a good balance between capacity and ease of handling. Its heat-resistant design up to 100 °C also allows for cleaning with hot water within the recommended limits.
