With the development and design of our new CONTOURED gel bit protectors, we aim to set new standards for this product in terms of functionality, durability and compliance with various national horse show regulations.
Featuring a concave (inwardly curved) shape on their inner surface (to the mouth) and a convex (outwardly curved) shape on their outer surface (to the mouth ring). tip), these tip guards eliminate the need for previously used protruding guards. The advantages of this new design are quite obvious: The risks of friction or irritation on the outer skin of the corners of the mouth are reduced, because these sensitive areas remain largely intact. Furthermore, the free mobility of the bit and the bit rings, as well as the horse's natural chewing mechanism, are not inhibited in any way. Once attached to the bit, the special soft gel material holds the bit guards in their correct position, preventing rotation or other unwanted movements and improving precise control of the bit.
