This bit allows the rein to be placed on the main ring or the smaller lower ring to increase leverage while the copper pad encourages the horse to salivate.
Stainless steel is the most common material for bits. It is durable, easy to clean, tasteless, and rust-proof. Copper is used in the mouthpiece, creating warmth and encouraging salivation to keep the mouth smooth.
