The Waldhausen Double Jointed Anatomic Sweet Iron Loose Ring Snaffle is designed to provide comfortable and natural contact with the horse's mouth. Its anatomical shape better conforms to the oral morphology to reduce pressure points and promote more precise communication.
Made from Sweet Iron, this bit develops a slight natural oxidation when exposed to moisture. This reaction creates a brownish-grey, slightly sweet surface that stimulates saliva production. Better salivation promotes relaxation and improves acceptance of the bit.
The double joint distributes pressure more evenly across the tongue and bars. The loose rings allow for more mobile action and encourage the horse to seek soft and consistent contact with the rider's hand.
