Nourishing and Fortifying Plant Balm

Because every hoof is different and each deserves special attention, Kevin Bacon's has also developed a 100% natural plant-based balm with highly nourishing and moisturizing properties recommended for horses with very dry feet, cracks or brittle hoofs.

Thanks to a 100% plant-based active ingredient, "THE GREEN" is an ultra-penetrating and remarkable ointment derived from the combination of high-quality products such as olive and avocado oil, which allow deeper penetration to nourish sensitive or very dry calluses more quickly. Also ideal for giving a beautiful appearance, its regular use helps keep the foot supple, elastic, protected, strengthened but also more resistant.

Suggested Use:


"THE GREEN" is recommended for nourishing and strengthening horses' feet:
  • staying on a litter that is always dry and/or acidic (e.g. shavings, wood pellets, flax, etc.)
  • growing on soil that does not provide humidity (during the summer period)
  • simply having a dry, even brittle horny box
  • in case of extreme temperature (below 0°C or above 30°C)

Instructions for use

Normal use:
  • Apply the product with a brush directly to the outside of the foot, the sole and the frog.
  • Care for healthy hooves : 2 applications per week.
  • Before a competition : 1 application (for beauty and aesthetics).
  • In dry weather : 4 to 5 applications per week .
More intensive use when feet are too dry:
  • Shower your feet for a few minutes then dry them.
  • Then apply “The Green”.
  • Repeat this every day for a week.
