Classic Corrective Merino Shock Absorber
The shock absorber (also called Half-pad) allows you to adjust a saddle that is too large and relieve the pressure points created by the latter. It also helps cushion impacts and protects your horse's back. Not only do they promote blood circulation, but they also prevent moisture buildup between the saddle and the horse's skin, control temperature and reduce the risk of sores and irritation.
This shock absorber is equipped with passages for counter straps on both sides. It also has a nice tourniquet removal area and 4 insertion areas that close with Velcro.
Included are 12 felt inserts that are 1/4 inch thick each.
- 6 for the quarters (shoulders)
- 6 for the seat (back)
Suitable for classic saddles between 16 and 18 inches.
