Biotin is undoubtedly the most well-known and widely used ingredient for treating hoof problems. While it is true that
only a few studies have been carried out on horses to evaluate the effectiveness of biotin and that the results are often
mixed, in practice there are a significant number of horses whose hoof quality has visibly improved after
a course of supplements containing biotin.
Biotin is naturally present in grass, among other things. Cavalor feed supplements are enriched with biotin and
thus promote healthy hoof growth. In addition, some colon bacteria can also produce
biotin. We do not know the exact biotin requirements of a horse, but a higher dose of biotin will
certainly strengthen fragile or diseased hooves. Please note: a minimum dose of 25 to 30 mg of biotin
per day is necessary to achieve a visible effect. This is why Cavalor Hoof Aid Special contains a relatively high daily dose of
biotin.
In addition to biotin, Cavalor Hoof Aid Special contains many other ingredients that have a proven effect on hoof quality and
development. To ensure the stability of Cavalor Hoof Aid Special, the vitamins in the product have been
separated from the trace elements. Trace elements and vitamins are therefore at no risk of reacting with each other and
can act optimally.
The green pellets contain vitamins and minerals, including MSM, B vitamins, vitamin C and
choline chloride, which influence a significant number of bodily functions.
The beige pellets contain, among other things, the trace elements copper and zinc, which have been added in an easily
assimilable form. In addition, Cavalor Hoof Aid Special also contains certain essential amino acids: lysine and sulfur methionine
which strengthens hoof flexibility.
In addition to these very important ingredients for hoof development and quality, Cavalor Hoof Aid Special also contains
inactive yeasts. These support digestion and ensure that feed is absorbed as well as possible, which has
a favorable effect on the horse's general condition and vitality.

Add 50 g of Cavalor Hoof Aid Special to your pony's feed every day. For horses, the daily dose is 150 g.
1 scoop = 100 g. Maximum 420 g per horse per day.
Once the hooves are healthy again, the daily dose can be halved to continue supporting healthy hoof development.
The hoof wall grows from the coronary band. Due to the slow growth of the hoof wall, it can easily take 2 months before new hoof growth is visible and the results are noticeable.
We recommend using Cavalor Hoof Aid Special for at least 3 months.
