The stainless steel Happy Mouth hackamore combines multiple pressure points to provide precise communication with the horse. Its design merges the action of a hackamore with that of a gag bit, allowing pressure to be distributed across different areas of the head.
Pressure is distributed across the nose, poll, and mouth, rather than being concentrated solely on the mouth. This design may be suitable for horses that tend to stiffen or resist pressure exerted only by a bit.
The jointed hollow mouth allows for some mobility of the bit and encourages nuanced communication between the rider's hands and the horse. Its stainless steel construction offers good corrosion resistance and makes it easy to maintain.
The hackamore comes with black bit guards already installed, providing extra protection for the corners of the lips and a classic finish.
